Spring has sprung! Easter and Passover are two holidays this month that a lot of people are going to be shopping for. Spring weddings and baby showers are also happening.

Content Ideas

How can your business/products help folks focus on:

Wedding gifts/party favors
Baby shower gifts or decor
Easter basket fillers
Easter gift guides (gifts for her, gifts for kids, gifts for teachers, etc.)
Easter/spring games/activities

Example: Remember the gift box idea from February? You could do that this month as a wedding gift box or a baby shower gift box! Fill it up with a couple of things from your shop, maybe throw in a couple of things from other’s shops, and boom, the perfect gift box.

April 1st: April Fool’s Day – April Fool’s Day is so much fun, but let me give you a little pro tip – avoid joking that you’re going out of business! While it may seem like a harmless prank, some people might miss the joke and think it’s for real. You wouldn’t want to lose followers or customers because of a misunderstanding, right? So, let’s keep the jokes light-hearted and keep the laughter coming!

April 1st: National Handmade Day – Everything we make is handmade! So, why not celebrate National Handmade Day by taking a picture of your beautiful creations and sharing it with the world? Share your passion for crochet and let your customers know how much you love making these amazing products by hand. It’s truly magical how a skein of yarn and a crochet hook can be transformed into something incredible. Go spread some handmade love on this day!

April 5th: Passover

April 7th: Good Friday

April 9th: Easter – If you have any bunny or Easter-related products be sure to post about them on the 9th!

April 10th: National Siblings Day – This would be a great day to share a “Get to know me post”. You can share memories you have with your siblings, or share what it was like being an only child! This might not be a good post to relate to your products, but it would make a good post for your ideal customer to get to know you better. We buy things from people we like 😉

April 11th: National Pet Day – This is an easy one! Share about your pets! Share a photo of your cat wrapped up in a ball of yarn. Share a photo of your dog wearing one of your handmade beanies!

April 12: National Grilled Cheese Day – If you sell amigurumi food, this is your chance to shine! National Grilled Cheese Day is the perfect opportunity to show off your creativity and come up with some fun and delicious grilled cheese-themed products. You could even share a photo of one of your amazing products alongside a real grilled cheese sandwich and tell your customers all about your favorite way to enjoy this cheesy goodness. Whether you like it fancy or with a side of soup, don’t be afraid to get creative and have fun with it!

April 14th: Coachella Starts – If you sell crop tops, it’s time to get festival-ready! Whether it’s Coachella or any other music festival, your crop tops are the perfect accessory for a stylish and comfortable look. So, why not show off your amazing products and how they’re the ultimate festival wear? You could even encourage your customers to share photos of themselves wearing your crop tops at festivals – it’s a great way to showcase your products and engage with your audience.

April 20th: Get to know your Customer Day – This is the perfect day to connect with your customers and get to know them better. Why not ask them a fun and specific question like “What’s your favorite flower now that spring has sprung?” This is a great way to spark some conversation and show your customers that you care about their opinions. And remember, it’s best to avoid open-ended questions like “Tell me something about yourself” – the easier the question, the more likely your customers are to engage with you and share their thoughts.

April 22nd: Earth Day – If you make and sell products that are “Green” you can share a photo or video of you making one of those items and share how they are great for the Earth!

April 28th: Arbor Day – If you are participating in any Arbor Day events in your town, today is a great day to post about it. Especially if you sell eco-conscious things like Crafty Facial Rounds! If nature has anything to do with your brand, you can share about it today.
