Materials

– Cotton yarn (worsted weight) I am using Hobby Lobby I love this Cotton.
Note: I would recommend using a solid color yarn, or you can do some color blocking. These eggs are made inside out and flipped right side out at the end. So when using variegated yarn, the seams can look a little wonky.

Lay your front piece with the right side facing up.

Lay your top back piece with the right side facing down, lined up on top of your front piece.

(we want the right side of our pieces facing each other, because we are going to seam the egg and then flip it right side out.)

Using the working yarn still attached to your top back piece, insert your crochet hook into the first stitch of the top back piece, then insert your hook through the same stitch on the front piece and INC. (2 SC in same space to create a corner.)
