Looking for the perfect crochet purse pattern for fall? Look no further!

The Pumpkin Patch Purse is the perfect fall accessory for your favorite little tot. The bobble-textured pumpkins and the sweet scalloped edges make this purse a sweet tote for carrying all sorts of trinkets.

This crochet pumpkin purse is a quick work-up in worsted weight yarn. Use cotton, acrylic, or whatever your preferred choice of yarn.

Be sure to read through all instructions before starting your design. This pattern uses the bobble stitch within the body of the design, so you will need to be familiar with this stitch. Notes

Written instructions are provided below for this pattern. If you prefer a chart, you can find a visual in the paid pdf version.

To start this project, you will create the front of the purse, with the pumpkins, and then tie off and set that piece aside.

Then, you will create the back of the purse, in one color. You will not tie off this piece.

Continue to add the strap and then you will crochet through both the front and back pieces to join them together. If desired, you can thicken the strap and then add the shell edging to complete the pattern.

You will always work in rows for the main body of the purse. You will always chain one and turn at the end of each row.

If you desire to make Pumpkins in your purse, you will need to change colors throughout your work. You should switch to your new color BEFORE completing the stitch prior.

This is demonstrated in the video tutorial linked here!

Please note, this video shows pineapples for the Ananas Lovey, but the technique used is the same for the pumpkin purse. You can cut your ends and weave them in at the end or you can carry your yarn along the row as you go.
