Morning Hustle Cozy- Pattern by Cozy Moon Designs

Hello hello, creative people!! Today’s post is the second post in a series I’m calling “Project Journal”. In this series, I will be sharing different crochet projects with you guys that I make from other awesome crochet designers! I will do some free patterns but also some paid patterns too. I’m excited about this because it will give me a little “break” from A Crafty Concept stuff but I can still stay on my blog schedule by sharing it with you guys here!!

Recently I decided, after drooling over Instagram pics for a while now, I was going to purchase and make the Morning  Hustle Cozy by Cozy Moon Designs. This pattern speaks to me on many different levels.

  1. I’m addicted to iced coffee and that’s the kind of cup this cozy was designed for.
  2. I love the yarn the pattern calls for and really wanted a project where I could use it.
  3. The design is amazing, its very Farmhouse/rustic in my opinion, I love it!
  4. I love a quick, instantly gratifying project.

I bought this pattern and made my first Cozy all in under an hour, it worked up so fast! I made the smaller size using  Bernat Home Dec yarn in the color Clay and my Susan Bates size I hook made by On The Hook. I also attached one of my wooden tags from All This Wood and I think that really gives these cozy’s a finished look.

After I made a Morning Hustle Cozy following the pattern, I wanted to try making one in the new Yarn Bee Comfy Classic yarn I just picked up from Hobby Lobby last week. It was a smaller weight yarn so I jumped up a hook size. It still turned out way smaller than the one I made with the Bernat yarn, but its the perfect size for cans!

Overall I love this pattern. It is written really well and easy to follow. It’s a great project for beginners, and the finished product is so cute and trendy! I bet these would sell really well at markets, no matter the season! I have linked all the info for Cozy Moon Designs down below.
