Back to School | Crochet Pattern Roundup

It’s that time of year again! Kids are going back to school and all the “First day of 5th grade” pictures are all over my Facebook feed. I’m not complaining though, I love seeing the comparison pics of kids on their last day of school vs them on their first day of school! To celebrate school starting back up, I thought it would be fun to do a roundup of my favorite Back to School crochet patterns!

Crafty Pencil Pillow | by A Crafty Concept

Ok so this one is my own pattern ????but it really is one of my favorites! You can find the pattern for free on my blog HERE. It isn’t fully photographed because I lost a bunch of pictures about a year ago and still haven’t replaced them, but I’ll get to it one day! The instructions should be clear enough for you to make the pillow but if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! This pillow would be a great teacher gift, I know a lot of elementary school teachers love having fun pillows in their classrooms. Feel free to get creative with colors too! You could make a set of color pencil pillows, how cute would that be?!

Crochet Apple Pouch | By Repeat Crafter Me

I love everything about this Crochet Apple Pouch!  It is a free pattern, so stinkin cute, and includes instructions on how to add the zipper! It was designed by one of my FAVORITE crochet designers, Repeat Crafter Me. This would be so cute as a teacher gift, but also would make a great little supplies pouch for your little! You can find the free pattern HERE.

The Big Pencil Scarf | By Hooked Up Crochet

How cute is this pencil scarf design by Hooked Up Crochet?? I love how quirky it is! This piece would also make an amazing teacher gift (maybe at Christmas time?) but I think it would also be super cute for your kiddo (any age really) to be walking into school rocking their sweet handmade pencil scarf! This is a free pattern on Karen’s blog and you can find it HERE.

Kawaii Apple keychain | By Spin A Yarn Crochet

This little apple keychain by Spin A Yarn Crochet is so cute! This again would make a great teacher gift or a great first day of school gift for your kiddo. They could hang it on their backpack or their lunchbox. You could also include a punny apple note like “You’re the apple of my eye”. You can find the pattern for free HERE or an inexpensive ad-free pdf version HERE.

Last but not least I wanted to throw in a free sheet of back to school themed “Handmade with Love” wrap labels. Every Wednesday I send out a new free sheet of “Handmade with Love” wrap labels to all my crafty subscribers. I also include the previous weeks for any new subscribers I may have picked up in the last 7 days. If you would like to be included in all the freebie fun, you can subscribe to my blog HERE (just scroll down to the bottom) .
