How to make A Crochet Plant Coaster- Free Pattern

Welcome this month’s guest designer Jessica from Jessica Paz Creates. She is sharing her lovely Rainbow Plant Coaster Pattern with us!

“After I designed the Mug Nest Coaster I thought how fun it would be if I designed a larger one for my plants! So the Plant Nest Coaster was born.

With spring right around the corner, I thought it would be fun to add a cute rainbow in the clouds design to it. Since it has color changes and is worked up a little different than the Plant Nest Coaster I decided to make it an all-new pattern.

It’s one of my favorite patterns to make since it works up quickly, is a great stash buster, makes a great gift, and it isn’t just for plants! It is also super cute decor for a nursery or any tabletop decor. I even use one on our kitchen table for our paper towel holder. The best part! It’s beginner-friendly. “

Pattern Notes

The Rainbow Plant Coaster pattern is worked in rows and rounds, starting with a magic ring. Only turn when it says to turn.

Use a stitch marker, if needed, to mark the 1st St of each row/round.

Ch 1 does not count as a St.

When changing color be sure you change to the next color in the top of the previous color’s stitch.

You will be working the last St of the row in the St you Sl st in at the beginning.
