Size H (5.0mm) Crochet Hook

Hobby Lobby “I Love This Yarn” in Peacock, Turquoise, Tropical Pink, Yellow, Orange, Limelight, & Pink 

Two 15mm Black Safety Eyes 

Poly-fil Stuffing

Black puff paint or embroidery floss 

Craft glue or hot glue gun (optional)

Join. FO, Leave long tail for sewing. 

Flower B

Make 1.
Round 1 – With Limelight yarn, MR, SC5 (5) 

Change to Yellow yarn 

Round 2 – [Ch2, TR, Ch2, Sl St in same stitch, Sl St in next St] x5 (5) 

Join. FO, Leave long tail for sewing. 

Cheeks 

Make 2. 

Round 1 – With Pink yarn, MR, SC6 (6) 

Join. FO, Leave long tail for sewing. 

Alternative to Safety Eyes 

Make 2. 

Round 1 – With Black yarn, MR, SC6 (6) 

Join. FO, Leave long tail for sewing. 

Assembly

* Place safety eyes between Rows 13 & 14, roughly 8 stitches apart.

* Sew or glue Cheeks & Flowers in desired location.

* Use black puff paint or embroidery floss to create desired mouth.

* Align Surfboard halves so ends of rows match. SC around both pieces to join together. Stuff with Poly-fil prior to completing stitching. If you want your edging to match, make sure you change colors as you SC around. Make sure you work in a counterclockwise direction so your stitches face forward.
