Finished Dimensions: Approximately 17 inches tall and 7.5 inches at the widest part.

Materials

Stitch Key (US Terms)
SC = Single Crochet
CH = Chain
INC= Increase (Put two stitches in the same space. (In this case, it will be two SC stitches.)
DEC=Decrease (Insert hook into stitch, pull up a loop, insert hook into next stitch, pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops)|
SL ST= Slip Stitch
YO= Yarn Over
*= To Be Repeated

Bobble: *YO, Insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop, YO and pull through 2 loops on your hook* Repeat 3 more times. Now you should have 5 loops on your hook. YO and pull through all 5 loops on your hook.

Back Bump: This is where you flip your starting chain over and insert your hook into the “back bump” of the chain and place your stitch there. If you are unfamiliar with this technique I would suggest watching the video that goes with this pattern. You do not have to use this technique, you can just single crochet as you normally would, but I feel like the back bump technique is cleaner.

How to change colors

Work your SC as normal but stop right before finishing the stitch, with 2 loops on your hook. Pick up your next color and pull it through the 2 loops on your hook, CH 1 and turn. Continue crocheting with your new color.

SC 42 up the right side of your pillow, making sure to keep your stitches lined up, while going through both the front and back pieces.

Begin a SC in the 43rd stitch (the same space where your first leaf starts) but stop after you YO and pull up a loop. Grab your green yarn and pull through, completing the SC stitch.

Continue to SC all the way around each leaf. Keeping your front and back pieces lined up and going through both at the same time.

 INC in the two stitches on top of each leaf. This will give the leaves a nice rounded finish.

When you get to the end of a leaf, put a SC in the same stitch where the end of the leaf is (the 6th SC from row 1 of the leaves) then start the next one by putting a SC in the same stitch where the leaves start.

To finish off your last leaf, insert your hook into the stitch where you leaf connects to the body of the pillow and pull up a loop. Grab your yellow yarn and pull through.

SC 2 going back down the left side of your pillow

Now is a good time to sew in your loose ends and stuff your leaves. You may need to use a pencil or something to get the polyfill into the very tip of each leaf. Remember not to stuff your leaves or pillow too full because then it will stretch it out too much and you will be able to see the polyfill through the stitches.

SC 40 down the rest of the side of the pillow.

Now stuff the body of your pillow

Close up the bottom of the pillow by continuing to SC until you are back to the beginning (bottom right corner.) Join and tie off. Sew in your loose ends.
