Crafty Boho Rug- Free Crochet Pattern

I have another pattern for you guys and I am kinda pumped about it.

This crochet circle rug is the Crafty Boho Rug! It is inspired by the Crafty Boho Pillow pattern I shared with you guys back in August.

Some of the links in this post may be affiliate links, meaning I may receive a small commission, at NO ADDITIONAL cost to you, from purchases made using the links provided.

The Crafty Boho Rug is made using three strands of yarn simultaneously, making it chunky and durable.

The round design is trendy right now and it’s great because you can easily adjust the pattern to make a rug size that’s perfect for your space, just stop when your rug is as big as you would like.

I recommend stopping on an increase row directly after a bobble row. This will help your rug lay flat and keep it from curling under. Here’s what you’ll need!

You can purchase the ad-free version here

Materials
12mm crochet hook (my hook is by Clover).
6 skins of Caron One Pound yarn. (Mine is in the color soft sage)
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Finished rug dimensions: About 58 inches in diameter.

Stitch Key (US Terms)
SC = Single Crochet
CH = Chain
YO= Yarn Over
INC= Increase – Put two stitches in the same space. (In this case, it will be two SC stitches.)
SL ST= Slip Stitch
*= To Be Repeated

Gauge: 3” by 3” square- 5 stitches by 5 rows- Single Crochet

Special Stitches

Bobble: *YO, Insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop , YO and pull through 2 loops on your hook* Repeat 3 more times. Now you should have 5 loops on your hook. YO and pull through all 5 loops on your hook. (do not chain after this, just go straight into your next stitch)

Magic Circle: If you are unfamiliar with the Magic Circle/Ring method you are welcome to chain 3, join, and crochet in the circle you created. If you would like to learn how to crochet the Magic Circle here is an awesome video tutorial.

This pattern is worked using three strands of yarn simultaneously, making your finished rug super thick and durable.

If you don’t like holding three strands at once, you can use this technique (in the video below) and just work from one skein at a time.
