Hobby Lobbys “I love This Yarn” color chart

Most of us crocheters (and knitters) have our favorite go-to brand of yarn. I basically only use Hobby Lobby’s yarn brand, I Love This Yarn, for nearly all my projects. Occasionally I’ll use “I Love This Cotton” or a fun chunky yarn, but not very often.  I know a lot of you guys use this yarn as well so I wanted to give you an updated color chart to use for your Etsy listings, craft fairs or just for your own personal benefit. Unfortunately, Hobbylobby.com doesn’t have all their color option available. The new sparkle colors are not listed and I noticed a couple different Tweed colors weren’t there either, like the Sea Blue Tweed and Brown Tweed.????  So here is a color chart for all the solid ILTY colors that are listed on their website. I hope you guys find it helpful and would love to hear your feedback! Comment and let me know if this is something you will be able to use ☺

If you want to print your color chart off, I recommend going to your nearest Office Depot or OfficeMax. If you text ECTCSPC to 555-888 you will receive a Chamber store shopping number that will save you a TON in the printing department there! You can just email your chart to Office Depot/Max and say you need it printed on cardstock in full color. Make sure to include the chamber number in your email, this will save you some time when you go to pick up your order. They will email you back when you order is ready to be picked up (Honestly it should only be like 25 cents lol).  You can also print your color chart on a poster and have it laminated if you want to get real fancy!

    Hey Ashley,

Thanks for posting these amazing charts! Quick question, I tried to upload them to my etsy listing but since it’s a PDF it didn’t work. How did you get it to upload on your listings? Thanks for helping!

Hello … I’d purchased the Mistletoe I Love this Yarn, from Hobby Lobby and now cannot find it on line. It’s # 672, 100% acrylic, super soft Ombré. HL # 248849. Any help is appreciated !

This is amazing ! Just what I needed thank you so much ! By chance how did you make this? I want to be able to have one for caron’s simply soft line and yarn bee’s secret soft line. Those are the other two lines I use the most for my projects and would love something like this !

I purchased 5 skeins at Hobby Lobby, Paducah, Ky. (all they had) of I Love This Yarn, in Print, 468/Night Blue. I was fully expecting that I could purchase the rest of what I will need on line to make an afghan. It seems Hobby Lobby doesn’t have any idea what I am talking about.

How does one make an afghan, blanket, or anything requiring more than 5 skeins?

Anyone have any idea where this yarn can be purchased aside from Hobby Lobby? I’m in Canada and Hobby Lobby won’t ship to Canada.

It’s a Hobby Lobby branded yarn, so that’s the only place it can be purchased. I’m not sure if someone might resell it on Ebay or someplace like that?

I purchase this yarn all of the time. It is my “go to” yarn but lately I am not happy with the quality of the yarn. I have been working on a large afghan and this yarn is filled with tie knots all through it. My one purple skein of yarn has 4 of these tie knows and I am not even on my 4th row with it. Very disappointing… Come on I love this yarn…. step it up a notch….

I love this yarn. Most of my patterns call for another brand but it feels harsh to me.
how can I get a readable copy of the color chart for my home use when matching to another brand.
do they have them printed up for purchase.

I have been crocheting for awhile and still doesn’t understand everything. I started a baby Afghan with the soft pink. My neighbor had told me something about checking the lot. Didn’t pay it any mind. I am now in the middle of an Afghan and the second skein is a slightly different shade and is noticeable. My neighbor suggested using a variegated color as a few stripes then use the new pink and line the entire Afghan with the variegated. Any other suggestions?

Any chance you have a skein of Antique Teal lot # 910202. I have bought two other o’clock numbers and even with a contrast strike in my sweater it’s very obvious they are different. I’ll definitely pay!

Hello, I am also a great fan of your yarn. I am about finished with a dog afghan, which is Hugh and I have been on it for about four months. Now I can’t fine the right color. I need a couple of skaines of ” Beige” that’s . It is the linen not the shiny. Everyone seems to be out. I can’ t change the color now. I would appreciate your input.
    Thank you
